THE OTHER SIDE'S PLAYBOOK

I know how the State buils a case — because I used to build them.

I spent nearly a decade putting cases together for the State.

And I know exactly where they and how they fall apart — and I use that knowledge to defend you.

WHAT THE STATE IS COUNTING ON

THEIR SIDE OF THE FILE:

  • A police report nobody double-checks against the body-cam.

  • A defendant who talks before they have a lawyer in the room.

  • A plea offered fast, before the evidence is really tested.

  • Gaps in the chain of custody that go unnoticed.

HOW WE TAKE IT APART

YOUR DEFENSE:

  • Line-by-line review of every report, warrant, and stop.

  • Pretrial investigation that finds what the State overlooked.

  • Pretrial motions tailored to your specific case that lock law enforcement in early - and can change the course of a case before it ever goes to trial.

  • Cutting edge law, and the latest cases that apply to yours from our State's highest courts.

  • But we are always case built to be tried — not just pled.

WHERE WE FOCUS

Serious charges demand serious defense. We concentrate our practice on the cases that put your freedom and your record on the line.  If the State brings charges, we make them prove it.

1

MAJOR FELONIES, VIOLENT CRIME,  DRUG CHARGES, PROBATION REVOCATIONS

Assault, murder, drug possession, drug trafficking,  weapons, and major felony charges and representation on probation matters — defended by someone who has tried them from both chairs.

2

DUI AND TRAFFIC AND MISDEMEANORS

We challenge the stop, the testing, and the science — the places these cases most often break down.  And we keep informed of the latest changes in the law that can work in your favor.

TRIAL STRATEGY AND ADVOCACY TAILORED TO YOU

Jury selection, witness preparation, negotiation strategy, independent case investigation and courtroom persuasion built on two decades in front of Georgia juries.

ABOUT THE TEAM.

MEET THE PEOPLE IN YOUR CORNER.

who we are

we believe in defending the constitution.  not the crime.

We have heard it over and over.  And asked how  we sleep at night.   And very well, unless we are in trial, thank you.   Because without defense lawyers, those precious rights you hold dear would be meaningless.  After all, who else is going to point out when they are violated? .
